How
to view courses
DEN
courses are delivered via the Internet, and are available
on the web live and on-demand. All you need is high-speed

Course
notes, handouts and homework
Students
can download their course notes and homework assignments
from the individual course web site (accessed through logging
onto the DEN web site).
-
Course notes generated by the professor during class will
be posted alongside the webcast (students can download
and print them before viewing a class if they are watching
it after the lecture time). To see a demo, click
here.
-
Handouts distributed during class will be posted before
the beginning of class, or as soon as the professor provides
the material. All course materials are posted within 24
hours of receipt.
-
Homework assignments will also be posted on the DEN course
web site. The student is responsible for downloading the
assignment and sending it back to DEN via e-mail or fax.
-
If students have questions about the course notes or homework
process, please e-mail
us.
Textbooks
Textbooks
can be ordered from the USC
Bookstore - (213) 740-5200. Students may also purchase
textbooks at other book retailers. Textbook lists are reported
by individual academic departments to the USC Bookstore.
DEN does not maintain a list of textbooks for classes.
Mid-term and final examinations
-
For students who work or reside in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties, examinations will be taken at USC’s main campus.
-
For students outside of this region, exams are proctored at local area testing centers.
- Students are required to take mid-term and final examinations at the time and location specified by DEN. Exceptions to this policy are not permitted except under extreme circumstances. The exam policies can be found here. Email the DEN Exams Coordinator at denexam@usc.edu with any exam-related questions.
